FILM FINISHES
GLOSS
Gloss is by far the most used laminating finish. All film types offer high gloss levels as well as high clarity.
Gloss Acrylic Hard Coat
Gloss Acrylic Hard Coat is a high clarity, polyester film that has an acrylic gloss finish applied to the surface of the film. The gloss level is dramatically increased and makes it extremely scratch resistant. This film works very well for dry erase boards and any other product where scratch resistance is imperative.
Gloss Pet Glueable/Stampable
Gloss Pet Glueable/Stampable finish specially treated for accepting latex or animal glue, foil stamping and UV coating.

MATTEThere are different matte and clarity levels depending on the base film:
OPP MatteOpp matte creates the dullest finish of all the film types. In many cases it is almost unperceivable to the untrained eye. It has a very soft feel. It is commonly used in the book cover/dust jacket market. It scuffs easily.
Scuff Resistant OPP Matte
Scuff Resistant OPP Matte is specially designed for the book market in mind or when extra scuff resistance is needed.
Nylon Matte
Nylon Matte is a dull finish. It has a slightly smoother texture and feel than the OPP matte film. It scuffs easily.
PET Matte
PET Matte has a slight shine to the surface of the film; almost a semi-gloss look. It is scratch resistant. It will mute the image colors that it is applied to rather than brightening and enhancing the image colors.
PET Acrylic Hard Coat Ultra Matte
Pet Acrylic Hard Coat Ultra Matte is an extremely high-grade polyester with an acrylic matte finish applied to the surface of the polyester film. It has high clarity, ultra low gloss and has an extremely scratch resistant finish.
